Overview
Quill Tools exists to replace the dozens of ad-choked single-purpose utility sites developers and writers reach for every day. It gathers 138 precision tools – JSON formatters, encoders, image compressors, password generators, word counters – into one workbench across eight product lines. Everything executes in the browser: no account, no upload, no server round trip, which is the whole argument. The site's job is to make that promise legible in seconds and get the visitor into a tool without ceremony.
Deliverables
What was produced
- 01
Homepage positioning the workbench, with a live terminal demo running in the hero.
- 02
Searchable, filterable index covering all 138 tools across eight product lines.
- 03
'Three moves. Zero ceremony.' explainer showing the drop-in → transform → done workflow.
- 04
A privacy section, testimonials, FAQ and an editorial journal.
Approach
How it was designed
- 01
The hero runs a real tool rather than describing one – proof beats a feature list when the whole pitch is speed.
- 02
A warm paper-white ground and a single red accent keep 138 items from reading as a wall of chrome.
- 03
Tools are grouped into eight named product lines, so a large catalogue stays browsable without a taxonomy the visitor has to learn.
- 04
'Nothing to leak. Ever.' is given its own section, because on-device processing is the reason to choose this over the incumbents.
