Overview

Home of Cards is built for trading-card collectors who are currently juggling a spreadsheet, three marketplaces and a Discord server. It pulls the whole workflow into one product: set checklists to track what you own, a 1/1 tracker for one-of-one cards, a grading guide, a release calendar, live auctions and breaks, instant card valuation, and a 'we buy any card' route for collectors who want out without listing. Every card is verified, which is the platform's answer to a market full of fakes.

Deliverables

What was produced

  • 01

Homepage introducing the three pillars – collection, tools, community – with live marketplace stats.

  • 02

Set checklists and card-set browser for tracking a collection.

  • 03

1/1 Tracker tool for one-of-one cards, plus a grading guide.

  • 04

Live auctions and breaks area, valuation flow and a 'we buy any card' service.

  • 05

Release calendar, community forum and an editorial news section.

Approach

How it was designed

  1. 01

The hero states all three pillars in one sentence, because the platform's advantage is breadth – a visitor arriving for a checklist should see the marketplace too.

  2. 02

Card artwork is allowed to supply the colour; the interface stays on warm paper and near-black so the cards never compete with the UI.

  3. 03

Live listing counts sit directly under the hero, since a marketplace with no visible activity gives a collector no reason to sign up.

  4. 04

Tools and marketplace share one navigation rather than splitting into separate products, keeping the collector in a single workflow.
