Overview
CodingLab lets companies post a project and receive applications from freelance developers and designers. The film opens on a search bar typing codinglab.nl, lands on the homepage and its 'How CodingLab works' section, then splits the story in two: a client side, where a job is posted and applications arrive, and a freelancer side, where a profile and job list are shown on a laptop. It ends on the mobile onboarding flow, where a new user picks what they are looking for.
Deliverables
What was produced
- 01
A 29-second product film at 1080p.
- 02
A search-bar opening that types the domain, so the address is the first thing a viewer reads.
- 03
Client-side and freelancer-side chapters built from the product's own screens.
- 04
A phone sequence covering mobile onboarding.
Approach
How it was designed
- 01
The film starts with the URL rather than the logo – the one action it wants from a viewer is to visit the site.
- 02
Screens float as flat planes on white with the camera moving across them, so dense interface pages stay legible at a glance.
- 03
'Client side' and 'Freelancer side' titles split the marketplace in two, letting each audience find itself within seconds.
- 04
The product's own mint accent is the only colour, keeping the film consistent with what users see when they arrive.
