Overview
Cal Trip sells California road trips – named routes such as the Grand Canyon, Yosemite and San Francisco, bookable with a price attached, plus a roster of local guides travellers can reserve a seat with. The site's job is to convert wanderlust into a specific, priced trip rather than leaving the visitor to plan one themselves.
Deliverables
What was produced

Homepage with a retro travel-poster hero and a tour catalogue.
- 02
Priced tour cards for each named route.
- 03
Local guides section with guide profiles and bookable seats.
- 04

Approach
How it was designed
- 01
A mid-century travel-poster aesthetic – dusty pastels, heavy display type, illustrated landscapes – separates the brand from photo-led competitors.
- 02
Every tour carries a price on the card, because an unpriced trip stalls the decision.
- 03
Guides are given names and faces, turning a commodity tour into a person you are travelling with.
- 04
The ticket-inclusions block answers the 'what do I actually get' question before the booking step.
