Overview

Bullen's is a burger food truck that parks somewhere different each day. That single fact defines the site: a customer's two questions are 'where is the truck today?' and 'can I order before I get there?'. Both are answered in the first screen, followed by the menu – smash burgers, combo meals, ice-cold drinks – and the list of regular pitches.

Deliverables

What was produced

  • 01

Homepage with a 'Where's the truck?' locator and the order-ahead route.

  • 02

Menu covering smash burgers, combo meals and drinks.

  • 03

    Three-step order-ahead explainer – pick, grill, collect.

  • 04

Regular parking spots, about and contact sections.

Approach

How it was designed

  1. 01

A bold flat-colour hero with an illustrated burger makes the brand readable on a phone in daylight beside a parked truck.

  2. 02

'Where's the truck?' sits above the menu, because location is the blocker – nobody orders food they cannot find.

  3. 03

Order-ahead is explained in three steps with no account required, matching a queue-length attention span.

  4. 04

Playful illustration replaces food photography, keeping the site cheap to update as the menu rotates.
